John Byrne is Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy (CEEP) and Distinguished Professor of Public Policy at the University of Delaware. Since 1992, he has been a contributing author to Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change (IPCC). He co-chairs the Sustainable Energy Utility Oversight Board, created by the Delaware General Assembly, and is the architect of this innovative concept. His work has been funded by the World Bank, UNDP and UNEP, and in the U.S. by NSF, NREL and the EPA, among others. He has published 17 books and over 150 research articles.
